NEW! Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class

Maranacook Adult and Community Education is excited to announce the dates for the Fall 2015 CDL Course to be offered at the RSU 38 Professional Development Center in Readfield, Maine.

This class provides students with the driving skills and training needed to become a Commercial Truck Driver, a field currently one of the fastest growing careers in the United State, with plentiful job opportunities available.

Several local trucking businesses, the Maine Department of Transportation and others will be attending the last evening of class and offering jobs and additional training opportunities to all attendees who successfully pass the class. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a small investment in your future and receive a huge financial return in the form of a steady good paying job. There is no better time then NOW to take this class and secure your future in the trucking industry.

Several local businesses have offered to assist our program in lowering our operating costs and we will be offering the class for $1,200 (regular price is $1,500!) to the first 6 people who sign-up and secure their spot with a deposit of only $200. In addition, I have also been contacted by a local group in Readfield who will supply a limited number of $100-$200 scholarships to further help students defray costs.
