Travis Mills joined us at Manchester Elementary on Wednesday, May 23rd to share his motivational story with our students.  Not only is he a parent at our school, but a very inspiring war veteran from our community. Travis, along with his foundation, The Travis Mills Foundation, are always doing things to support veterans and the community.  We are so fortunate to have him be a part of our district. On May 24th six iTeam members from Maranacook Community Middle School and two chaperones joined 1100+ students and teachers from around the state for the 15th annual MLTI Student Technology Conference at the University of Maine in Orono. The conference celebrates and shares how technology is being used across the state to promote student engagement and foster effective 21st century skills. Maranacook Community High School Top Ten Scholars – Class of 2018 Emma Hatt, of Mount Vernon, daughter of Greg and Deborah Hatt, is valedictorian. She has been a member of Chamber Choir for four years, a guitarist in Jazz Band for four years, and played bass guitar and percussion in Concert Band for two years.
