MES PTCO Theme Raffle Baskets!

The MES PTCO is excited to bring back Theme Raffle Baskets!!  In the past years, a popular fundraiser at our school has been the creation and raffling of Grade Level Theme Baskets (funds raised support student enrichment activities).  This year these baskets will be on display during Parent Teacher Conferences on March 8th - 14th.  Each grade is going to put together a Theme Raffle Basket.  A sample list of items that could be included in this basket has been sent home (a second copy will be sent home today) with your child.  In order to avoid duplication, please use the Sign-Up Genius link for your classroom.  You can also access your link by visiting our Manchester Elementary School PTCO page on Facebook.

What should parents know about Snapchat?

Kids and teens love using the messaging app Snapchat because it lets you send texts, pictures, and videos that you program to disappear after a few seconds. But parents should be aware that it's not actually true that Snaps disappear forever.  Learn more about Snapchat here at Common Sense Media.

Important Reminder to All Parents:

To ensure safety for all, the circle in front of the school is for busses only between 7:15-8:00 AM and 2:30-3:05 PM. Parents are asked to park in the rear school parking lot (near Castletown) when dropping off/picking up their child during that time. Please note, our school day does not start until 7:30 a.m. (all exterior doors are locked until this time and students will not be allowed to enter until 7:30 a.m.!) Additionally, students may not be dropped off on the playground until 7:30 a.m. because there are no duty teachers until this time!
