5th Grade Students at Mt. Vernon Elementary School were challenged to learn perspective of drawing a person with legs and arms angled backward, as well as expressing their individuality. They were offered to use a mirror to look at their facial features. We talked about the proportion of the face. Then the fun began! They made the drawing resemble themselves in clothing, and accessory choices. After they outlined in marker, colored neatly with crayon, it was time for the background.
