Maranacook Education Foundation announces their second grant recipient is…Maria Rungi, Literacy Specialist at Readfield Elementary School! She’s received $900.00 for her project, “Engaging Students in Reading and Writing through Digital Storytelling.” Students will use IPads to create, narrate, and share stories with classmates and family.  They will study story structure, character development, conflict/resolution, cause and effect, dialogue and mood. Students will also practice digital illustrations. By making recordings, students will practice fluency and expression. The students’ stories will be accessible online.
