HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE

If you’re worried about providing food or gifts for your children during the holiday season, please reach out for help. Assistance is available through:

• your town office
• Mt. Vernon food pantry (Mt. Vernon, Readfield, Fayette & Vienna)
• your local church
• Mt. Vernon fire station (Mt. Vernon & Vienna)
• your school nurse

People are willing to help but please don’t wait until the last minute to ask. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season -  the school nurses.


A Book for Every Student!

Our Go Fund Me campaign to get each of our 224 students in the school sponsored, in order to receive a book from Scholastic each month, has been reached!! We’ve raised over $1700 to buy books for each student to take home every month! Thanks to all of you who donated, shared the link, and got the word out!!

How do I sign up for SchoolMessenger?

Signing up is easy. You can use the email address that we have on file for you, and follow these three steps:

Click the LOG IN Button at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/#/account/login, or Download the SchoolMessenger App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Market.

Enter your email address and create a password. An email will be sent to that address with a secure token.

After authenticating via your email, return to SchoolMessenger and sign in using your email and password.

 After School Childcare Program

RES has a wonderful after school program!   To help meet the needs of the Readfield Elementary parent community, we enroll students in K-5 on a full, part-time, occasional and emergency basis.  For more information, here is the 2016 Readfield Elementary School Parent Handbook and Child Care Application for school year 2016- 17.
