Weather At Your School Program

WMTW Channel 8 Maine's Total Weather and News has a Weather At Your School Program.  Every Tuesday and Thursday morning during the WMTW News 8 This Morning, Meteorologists Mallory Brooke and Ted McInerney will broadcast live from a school in the WMTW viewing area.

It kicks off this year on September 19th and our school has been chosen for the Kickoff!  This means that Mallory and Ted will be at our school from 6:00-7:00 am to broadcast live from Wayne.  We are asking for parents and students who would like to be part of the broadcast to arrive at school at 6:00 am.  School staff will be available so that you can drop your children off or you can stay for the live broadcast.

After the newscast, Mallory or Ted will do a weather presentation for our students.  It's a great way to highlight the outstanding schools in the communities as well as allow students to interact, learn, and ask questions from a local meteorologist!  Please join us Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:00 am.

What should parents know about Snapchat?

Kids and teens love using the messaging app Snapchat because it lets you send texts, pictures, and videos that you program to disappear after a few seconds. But parents should be aware that it's not actually true that Snaps disappear forever.  Learn more about Snapchat here at Common Sense Media.
