February 17, 2021

Dear Students, Families and Staff,

As we continue into the scheduled winter break I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with important information as we plan for the February 22 return to school.  First the good news - as a district we finished last week with no new COVID-19 positive cases. I’m including our dashboard here:

In addition there were no students or staff awaiting test results.  These numbers bring us back to the early days of the start of the school year.  Our staff and communities have worked hard to prevent the spread of the disease and our schools are open to in person learning thanks to everyone’s diligent efforts.  As you go through this winter break please review the travel requirements here as how we return after the break is important to continuing this downward trend.

Included here are some important dates that we encourage you to plan around:

Monday, February 22 Schools reopen from the winter break

Wednesday, February 24 K-5 students in person - 6-12 students remote

Wednesday, March 3 No in person schooling - All student work independently K - 12
