All RSU #38 schools will be closed again tomorrow Wednesday, December 20th for the following reasons:
1) Only 3 out of 6 school building currently have power. (MES, Middle School and High School with power.)
2) Although Main roads are clearing many of our side roads still have hazards of trees down, power lines in the roads, and leaning power poles that pose significant challenges for our buses to navigate. (At the time of this writing our Busses can not make it to MTVES.)
3) Most buildings staffing wise look to be close to 50% capacity which will make it difficult to adequately staff our building.
4) 3 out of 4 of our towns have large areas that are still waiting for power to be restored.
