In light of the many people who may be struggling to provide food for their families with the loss of SNAP benefits, we wanted to make sure that you are aware of the Maranacook Area food pantry at the Middle School.
Our pantry hands out boxes every week on Thursdays from 3-4 pm in the lower parking lot. Every other week there is fresh produce included in the boxes.
Please let the pantry know ahead of time that you will be coming to get a box so that they can have one ready for you, this can be done by email: foodpantry@marancook.com
Anyone in the area is welcome to use the pantry regardless of income and whether or not they have a child in the schools.
This pantry is operated by volunteers and completely on donations, if you would like to make a donation please use this link from the Maranacook Education Foundation, and instead of donating to the “general fund” scroll down via the arrow to select the “Maranacook Food Bank".
