RSU #38 Central Office Reopening – Updated 8/7/20

As we prepare to officially reopen to the public on August 10th, the following procedures are put in place to protect the staff and the public. The cooperation of everyone is truly appreciated. The following is a summary of our action plan as we reopen. Additional measures and changes may be put in place as necessary.

  • The Central Office will open to modified public access beginning August 10, 2020.

  • Office hours will be 8:00 - 3:00 Monday through Thursday, and closed to the public

on Friday (unless arrangements are made ahead of time).

  • Whenever possible, it is recommended that visitors make alternative arrangements for service by (email, telephone call, distance meetings).

  • Visitors may drop off and/or pick up materials in the entryway. A mailbox is available outside the building for smaller deliveries when the office is closed.

  • Public access to the Central Office will be limited to four (4) visitors at any time.

  • All visitors must call 685-3336 x0 upon arrival, and wear a face covering upon

    entering the building.

  • Visitors will be required to sign in with date/time of entry, name and telephone number. Do not enter the building if you are unwell.

  • At this time, public restrooms are NOT available. RSU 38 staff may use the restroom designated for outside staff.

  • Phone and email are still the best way to reach Central Office employees. Call the Central Office (685-3336 x0) or visit the website (www.maranacook.org) for email information.

  • The website continues to be an excellent resource. Sign up for E-Alerts to get important news and updates. Stay updated with access to real-time updates. You can download the app for free on both Google Play or the Apple App Store. Download for Android: http://bit.ly/2vLTAuRDownload for iPhone: https://apple.co/2vQ9jJ7

  • We will hold pre-scheduled “in-person” meetings of up to 4 people in the conference room.

  • Details are still being worked out regarding whether to hold public meetings and hearings remotely, or to begin holding in-person meetings. All “in-person” meeting attendees are required to wear a face covering. There will be more information regarding whether there will be an option for remote participation at public meetings.

  • Those interested in attending, listening, or watching remotely should look for web conference and teleconference links and instructions on meeting notices and agendas on the www.maranacook.org website.
