Update

March 4, 2022

Dear Staff, Students, and Families,

This letter is to update Covid case information from the week of February vacation thru today's date.

With the recent change to optional masking at all of our schools I am happy to report it was met with a positive response from students and staff.  We are offering KN95 masks upon request and expect to have child sized available early next week.  I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage participation in pool testing which will continue to be available through the end of the current school year.  If you are interested in signing up please reach out to your child’s school nurse or building administrator for more information.  Please remember we are still encouraging the practice of hand hygiene, distancing to the extent possible and staying home when showing signs of sickness.  Although numbers are declining we continue to be vigilant and need your assistance going forward to keep our learning communities healthy, engaged and productive.

Finally, I would like to congratulate the Maranacook Girls Nordic team as the Class B State Champions! Go Bears!

Sincerely,

Jay Charette

Superintendent of Schools
