RSU #38 – SNOW PLOWING/SALTING BID - Maranacook Area Schools, is requesting proposals for snow plowing/salting bids for a 3-year period, November 2021 - June 2024. Proposal instructions, specifications and forms are available at www.maranacook.org or by contacting the Superintendent of Schools Office, 207-685-3336. Bids must be submitted in writing, in a sealed envelope labeled “SNOW PLOW/SALT BID”, and received no later than 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at RSU #38, 45 Millard Harrison Dr., Readfield, ME 04355. This is a reminder about the covid-19 vaccination clinic scheduled tomorrow, Monday May 17th. If you have signed up, please make sure your student knows they are going to get vaccinated. Students should come to school wearing a T-shirt. The clinic will be held in the Middle School gym. Remote students should arrive at the middle school between 9 and noon and follow signs in the driveway. If you were unable to register electronically by the end of the day on Friday, students may bring completed consent forms to the Health Center or front office on Monday morning. This is a reminder about the Covid-19 vaccine clinic for students 12 years of age and older. The clinic is scheduled Monday June 7th. Students who already received their first dose at school are automatically signed up for a second dose. Students who want a first dose at this clinic must be registered through Northern Light. Parents must email Northern Light HCHCovid@northernlight.org to request registration forms. This takes up to 24 hours to process. Forms can then be submitted electronically with DocuSign. If you need transportation assistance, please contact Sarah Morrill at sarah_morrill@maranacook.com to let the Health Center know as soon as possible. Due to unforeseen circumstances RSU 38 has two afternoon take home bus runs that will not be running Tuesday, May 4th.  Readfield Bus #12 and Mount Vernon Bus #3 will NOT have an afternoon return home trip.  Students/families on these busses will need to plan alternate afternoon transportation home tomorrow, May 4th.  We sincerely apologize for the late notice and inconvenience this will cause our families.  If you have any questions you can contact the school or transportation garage directly.  Thank you for your continued support.
