Kelly (Walker) Thompson works as an administrative assistant in the high school office. Kelly graduated in 1986 and was a cheerleader all four years. She was also on the track team (Mike Boyman was a Coach!) and was in the biology club.

Deb (Brown) Collins is a grade 2 teacher at Manchester ES and graduated from MCHS in 1984. Deb played basketball and softball and organized a girls club soccer team because the school didn’t have one yet.

Kristin (Sinclair) Davis is a special education teacher at the MS. Kristin graduated from MCHS in 1999 and was a member of the '99 softball state championship team coached by Mike Verrill/Ken Martin. She also was a soccer goalkeeper, recording 9 shutouts in one season, a record!

Alyson (Kessler) Root works in the high school health center and graduated from Maranacook in 1987. She was on the first girls soccer team coached by Peter Poulin and was the #1 tennis singles player as well. Alyson is #6 in the team picture and is next to Missy Cushing in the other (Alyson is on the left)


Beth Cobb ‘80 was a 1000 point scorer.

This picture features legendary girls soccer coach Peter Poulin. Girls soccer started as a coed JV team. I had the honor to see him coach from ‘98-‘02 while I was a boys coach. Great coach and mentor to many.

Did you know? Long time nordic Ski coach Steve DeAngelis first coached girls basketball back in 1978?

Athletic Fun Fact #4: Boys basketball has won 5 KVAC titles, won 3 Regional titles, and appeared in three state championship games winning 2 of them.

Athletic Fun Fact #3: The first state titles for our school were in 1977 when the boys alpine team won the team title and the boys ski team (alpine and nordic combined) won the overall combined title. The first of 13 titles for boys alpine.

Athletic Fun Fact #2: Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, and Boys Nordic Skiing each have 10 conference titles.

Athletic Fun Fact #1: The boys soccer team has won 11 KVAC championships since 1998, the most in school history. Coaches: Tony Flye (98,99) Brant Remington (2000) and current coach Don Beckwith (05, 06, 07, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18).
